The Inspired Pen is a place for showcase/interviews of Christian authors/fiction
Showcases are by invitation only and are posted as space allows. Please follow word allotment. Readers start skimming or leave entirely when it gets too long and we don't want them to do that.
When submitting a showcase or author interview, please do NOT copy and paste things in different fonts from various places. Many times those different fonts stay put when the showcase is saved and it will not appear professional when it goes live. Everything has to be in Times New Roman 12.
Requirements For Showcases/Interview:
Title, Genre (and sub-genre if there is one).
Cover, Author photo, you may also send a second candid shot that you took and/or have rights to that relates to one of the interview questions you answered (note which question it goes with and give a caption, see below).
A back-cover blurb in Times New Roman 12 (not more than 175 words)

---Tell us something topical, interesting, funny, or something we would not expect about the writing of this novel.
---Do you have a trailer for this novel? How did this trailer come about? Give a link.
---If this novel is part of a series, tell us about the series.
---If this novel is holiday themed, or is releasing on or near a holiday tell us how you feel about that holiday.
---Is this novel unique/uncommon in some way. Does it deal with age 50+ romance, plus-size issues, disabilities, etc.
---Do you write exclusively in one genre, or do you "cross-over" to other genres? What draws you to the genre(s) you write in?
---When did you start writing for publication? And why? What drives you to write?
---How do you get inspiration for your stories (plots, characters, etc.)?
---How did you go about researching for this novel? Did you go anywhere outside your usual locale, or experience anything of note in the researching of this novel?
--- What is the hardest thing about writing? The easiest? The most thrilling?
---Can you give us a sneak peek or preview into the next work in progress (WIP) you're working on? When do you expect to release it?
---Were you good in English as a student? Did you enjoy reading and writing back then?
---What do you enjoy doing when you're not writing? Hobbies? Interests?
---Does your MC(s) read much? If so, what does he/she read?
