Showcase/Interview Requirements

The Inspired Pen is a place for showcases for Christian fiction, interviews of Christian authors, and reviews...or a combination of all three.

Showcases are by invitation only and are posted as space allows. Please follow word allotment. Readers start skimming or leave entirely when it gets too long and we don't want them to do that.

When submitting a showcase or author interview, please do NOT copy and paste things in different fonts from various places. Many times those different fonts stay put when the showcase is saved and it will not appear professional when it goes live. Everything has to be in Times New Roman 12.

Requirements For Showcases:

Title, Genre (and sub-genre if there is one).

Cover, Author photo, you may also send a second candid shot that you took and/or have rights to that relates to one of the interview questions you answered (note which question it goes with and give a caption, see below).

A back-cover blurb in Times New Roman 12 (not more than 175 words)

An excerpt in Times New Roman 12 (Give chapter number, not more than 500 words)
